The porch of the Reyes Adobe was a place where people greeted one another and relaxed after a hard day’s work during the era of the 1790’s. Weather permitting, in the evenings there was laughter, talk of the day’s business, singing and music.
 
To many generations of the Reyes family these were popular pastimes. From their porch, one was able to oversee the wonderful plaza. As the home was dark during early evening hours, the family spent most of their time outdoors.
 
Their main diet was beef, beans and a tortilla made into a cone and used to scoop up the beans. The beans that were eaten were called frijoles. They were cooked with patience and joy, and were considered to be the best food in the world. Large pieces of beef  were grilled with an open fire and called Carne Asada.
 
Following that great tradition, owner Robert M. Reyes and Genevieve Candelaria Reyes bring to Park City a lifetime of passion for Carne Asada with delicious, flavorful and unique recipes.
